Career Ahead is an exciting and innovative joint initiative from Connect South West and Ansbury.

As Career Ahead they support their professionally qualified advisers to provide first class support to young people through the innovative use of new technology and resources. Career Ahead also support and advise schools on how their curriculum can be developed to maximise successful outcomes for young people in education, employment and training.

Combined Excellence

Connect South West is a well established careers service in Somerset delivering professional information, advice and guidance in the region for over 15 years. They have developed strong links with many local, regional and national organisations including schools, colleges, businesses, employment and skills boards, employers, district and county councils, funding agencies and Heart of the South West Local Enterprise Partnership.

Ansbury developed from Dorset careers, a successful careers company that delivered government contracts to provide Careers Guidance Services to young people and adults. It then became Connexions, established in the Bournemouth, Dorset and Poole area in April 2002 as one of the 47 Connexions partnerships across England.
